BPEL and proxys

Hello:

I've uploaded a BPEL workflow which invokes services installed in a machine which is behind a proxy. When the response is ready to be sent again to the SSE Test Portal, an error appears: httpConnectionException: connection timeout: connect

Do you know if this problem can be caused by the proxy? Any case, I'd like to know issues regarding to the proxys and services installed in machines behind them and firewalls. Could the proxy interrupt the flow between services and SSE Portal?

Yes, the problem can be caused by the proxy, especially if you have an installation of the Oracle BPEL Process Manager on your backend hosting other workflows that you are trying to invoke. If you are using the TOOLBOX, there is also a proxy configuration to be done.
