HMA Skeleton

HMA Skeleton

The HMA Skeleton is a tool which provides a configurable simulation framework to simulate HMA (or other) Web services and to test HMA-compliant and OGC compliant client applications. It allows defining response messages and associating response files to incoming request messages using XPath expressions. The tool also contains a simple user interface to send requests to either the skeleton back-end or another HMA-compliant server.

An online preinstalled version of the skeleton v2.2 is available here. It includes on-line help.

Download

Version 2.2 patch 3 (12 July 2010) is downloadable here. It contains the following change:

  • update the Test page to correct the authentication operation name from “authenticate” to “RequestSecurityToken”.

Version 2.2 patch 2 (17 June 2010) is downloadable here. It contains the following changes:

  • update the user manual to cover the security feature
  • support configure a default end point of an authentication service.
  • update the Test page to display the service endpoints in all cases in place of showing a blank text when testing a service that is accessible locally on the Skeleton.

Version 2.2 patch 1 (04 May 2010) is downloadable here. It contains the following change:

  • update the Test page so that users do not have to enter user name and password from separate input boxes. In stead, the user name and password are included in the text-area “Request”.

Version 2.2 (13 April 2010) is available for download as source code and as binary. It contains the following new functionality:

  • Support sending SOAP request including a security token as defined in the OGC 07-118 version 0.1.0.
  • Improve the Skeleton test page user manual document.
  • Support defining custom soapAction strings to be set to the SOAP request for each service operation.
  • Support entering new service address (SOAP location) directly on the Test paget without having to update the Skeleton configuration like in the previous versions.

Version 2.1 (16 February 2009) is available for download as source code and as binary. It contains the following new functionality:

  • Support sending testing requests to a catalogue service implementing the OGC 06-131 0.2.2 interface that supports SOAP1.1/HTTP binding.
  • Include the sample files simulating the requests/resposnes conforming to the OGC 06-131 0.2.2 interface.

Version 2.0 (09 July 2008) is available for download as source code and as binary. It contains the following new functionality:

  • Support for receiving and sending asynchronous messages
  • Support for verification of SOAP headers

SSE service providers can also download it from the SSE Software Page.
