ERGO PROGRESS 0904 INTECS

ERGO Progress April 2009: Intecs

Project Manager Assessment

The HMA-T deliverables are late. The final version of the testing policy and the ETS for the CIM and EOP has not been delivered yet. Intecs needs at least two weeks to check the tests and complement them with additional tests covering the ERGO requirements. A first version of the ATP including a draft the ATS test defined by CNR in the context of the HMA-T project has been prepared. The CDR is foreseen by the 8th of May. The AR is foreseen by the 9/19 of June.

Key Problem List

  • The ERGO schedule is not compliant with the new HMA-T Schedule. Thus the a planning has been agreed with ESA. The late delivery of the testing policies is becoming an issue. The consortium woud like to finalize the project by middle of June (for budget and planning reasons). A draft conformance test plan has been included in the ATP and will be delivered at the CDR.

Risk Table
ID Risk Title Severity Likelihood Risk Index Risk Domain Action and status
1 Availability of HMA-T testing guidelines 3 3 9 Schedule Monitor HMA-T progress reports
2 CIM extension package availability 3 3 9 Schedule and Cost

Monitorthe extension package status and discuss with F.H.

The late delivery of the testing policies is becoming an issue. The consortium woud like to finalize the project by middle of June (for budget and planning reasons). Thus if the conformance tests will not be delivered in time (by the 17th of April) Intecs will provide additional tests to cover the requirements and the conformance tests will be skipped or an alternative solution will be agreed with ESA (e.g. Change Request).

Regarding the CIM extension package, a draft version of the extension package has been provided by F. Houbie. The specification i under review and will be officially released in May. The reale date is not in line with the ERGO implementation. Thus, we are planning to develope the draft specification. If something will change in the final version, the modifications will be agreed with ESA (e.g. Change Request).
