CryoSat L1 and L2 degraded data quality during roll manoeuvres
15 November 2019
   

Due to two small experimental roll manoeuvres, CryoSat L1b and L2 data are affected by degraded quality during the following time periods: 14/09/2019 from 02:50:15 to 03:01:25 UTC 22/09/2019 from 14:40:26 to 14:51:26 UTC However, the above manoeuvres were performed over land areas with limited impact on CryoSat science operations.

CryoSat Ocean Baseline C reprocessed data from 2016 available

We are happy to report that the reprocessed CryoSat Ocean Baseline C data for all of 2016 has been published on the Science Server and is available for download. The reprocessing activity is now almost complete and we are planning to publish the last two batches of data soon. We will follow with a last announcement when all datasets are available.

CryoSat SIRAL instrument anomaly on 7 July 2019

The CryoSat SIRAL instrument entered stand by mode at 01:53 UTC on 7 July. The instrument was successfully restarted and will resume normal operations by the afternoon of 8 July.   The precise unavailability time will be assessed once normal operations resume.   We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
