Dear Ilya,
harvesting the metadata via SOAP is a good choice if you want to harvest sistematically metadata via some scripts. To harvest a single metadata you can use the tool provided by the Toolbox (Harvest and Harvest from filesystem - they are available in the Tools section only if a catalogue service is selected)

Regarding the Schema the Toolbox exposes the Ebrim Schema not the EOP GML. Thus the schema you have downloaded from the Toolbox cannot be used to generate the metadata.

You can get more info related to the eop GML in the OGC document GML 3.1.1 Application Schema for EO products (1.0.0) that you can find here
